Business of Law Course

Introduction

This course has been developed by the Law Society of New Brunswick with the assistance of the Law Society of British Columbia.  The goal of the course is primarily to assist lawyers practising alone or in small firms to review key practice management topics.  The course does not attempt to be a complete knowledge base for each topic covered, but rather attempts to capture highlights and to provide a review of core concepts.
 
All Law Society of New Brunswick members may take this course and are entitled to claim CPD credits according to the amount of time spent to the maximum number of credits allowed, but only if the Quiz portion of the course is completed.  Once you have completed the course, you must log in to the Law Society of New Brunswick website to report your hours.  The Law Society will not report your hours for you.
 
If you have been mandated by the Law Society or by a Committee of the Law Society to complete this course, you must report completion to the Law Society.
 
Course value: Up to a maximum of 6 CPD credits. In order to qualify for credits, all lawyers must complete the Quiz at the end of each module. 
 
Note: It is your responsibility to report all earned CPD credits to the Law Society of New Brunswick.
