Introduction and Objectives

The objectives of the Planning for Absences and Emergencies module are to:
  • appreciate the importance of arranging for coverage during planned absences from work and of ensuring the continuity of your practice during unexpected absence or loss; and
  • appreciate the importance of insurance to help ensure the continuity of your practice and to provide a stream of income.
